BIOGRAPHY
Kenneth Burris is a contemporary artist whose work centers on post-industrial American landscapes. Working across drawing, 3D modeling, and painting, he builds scenes where human structures and natural forces overlap, erode, and reshape one another. His process uses digital tools as part of the studio workflow, but the final outcome returns to the physical language of paint and surface. Burrisโs landscapes focus on transition rather than strict realism, exploring how environments change over time. Kenneth has exhibited at the Queens Museum of Art, The North Dakota Museum of Art, and the Hearst Gallery, with features in Citadel 21 Magazine and There Is a Renaissance Happening. He is also a recipient of the Queens Council on the Arts New Work Grant.
