Stage 2: Digital Reconstruction: Structural & Atmospheric Original
In this stage the drawing is rebuilt as a three-dimensional environment in Blender. This establishes scale, structure, and spatial logic, allowing the landscape to exist as a verifiable place rather than only an image. I construct the terrain so it holds together from any angle, with the infrastructure and the growth occupying real space and real relationships to one another. This is hand-built construction, not generation. Every form is modeled and placed by decision. The stage informs the final painting, but it also stands on its own as a Structural Original: a finished record of the site’s architecture and depth, built in the digital medium and verifiable as a stage in its own right.
